Hi, I’m Rebecca!

I’m so excited that you’re here!

Born on Long Island, I am a transplant to Buffalo since 2016. Prior to graduating with my Master’s in Social Work in 2018 at the University at Buffalo, I graduated from Binghamton University with my Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2015.

I started my career doing case management for a homeless prevention program in Queens, NY in 2015. Doing that work inspired me to go on to get my Master’s in Social Work, to hopefully be able to make more of a difference. As I moved along in my internship and classes, I noticed I was drawn to complicated cases, involving trauma, substance use, and matters of identity.

Throughout my almost 11 years in the field of Social Work, I have remained inspired to continue in this work because of the incredible humans I have been fortunate enough to work with. That is why I am so passionate about what I do as a therapist. The things I’ve learned from clients simply cannot be taught in a textbook, and I’m so grateful for that. If you allow me the opportunity to be your therapist, I promise to learn from you, and let you lead the way as you see fit.

My approach is simple. We will look at your story through a trauma-informed lens, combining deep processing with practical, day-to-day coping strategies. I utilize evidence-backed modalities tailored entirely to your unique brain and history:

Processing the Past: Unpacking old wounds so they stop dictating your present.

Grounding the Present: Concrete skill-building to manage intense emotions and cravings.

Charting the Future: Finding clarity and motivation for your next chapter.

I currently accept Independent Health, Univera, Aetna and Highmark/BCBS. For folks without insurance or who are out of network, I will gladly charge a sliding scale fee, based on what's affordable for you. I'm committed to keeping therapy accessible to all.
